Mama’z Muezzic is a live show featuring poet and vocalist Monique Franklin also known as Verbal Oasis.  This live show is a mix of music, dance, spoken word and song pulling inspiration from her life, motherhood and  travels in the motherland and the African diaspora (Ghana, Senegal, St. Lucia, Barbados, St.Thomas Or St. Marteen) Please enjoy this one of a kind evolution exploring the global experiences of black women who are mothers and their journeys to Love, Self-discovery, Purpose, Healing, Liberation, Power, Self-actualization, and Love.

 

Mama’z Muezzic is an evening of evolving sound and movement revolving around the global wisdom of black womxn. This show is distilled from life, motherhood, and travels to Africa and the African diaspora steeped in the ether of the ancestors.
